FAQs

What if the product I ordered is  damaged?

I am having trouble installing     the Mitigator?

The Recoil Mitigator is designed to fit on full size standard 1913 Picatinny rails. This product is also designed to be tight on most of the rails. This is on purpose. A lot of people think that they got sent to wrong size. This is not the case. The Mitigator is desiged to be tight on your rail and the material is designed to "move" to fit your gun. Please carefully follow our install video linked below to properly "roll" The Mitigator on. The same video can be reached by scanning the QR code that is on your box or bag that The Mitigator came in. If you do not follow this process and decide to try ad hit it on with a hammer you will void your warranty and could potentially cause damage to your firearm.

How is "the mitigator"  best used?

Check out the YouTube video that shows how The Mitigator was designed to be used. The Mitigator is meant to help you control recoil. The simplest way to describe it would be to rest your non-dominate hand on the outside of your dominate hand once it is on the firearm. Place your non-dominate thumb on The Mitigator. When shooting, use your grip strength to drive your support (non trigger) thumb into the pad of Mitigator. This is not a replacement for training but it does assist in proper hand placement and use of leverage points of the firearm.
